Cigna National PPO Network
Through a collaboration with Cigna, Prominence is pleased to offer network access to those members who live, work or travel outside Nevada and who have national network benefits available within the following Prominence health plans:
- PPO
- PPO HDHP
- POS (Tier 2)
- HMO Freedom
As with other networks, it will always be the member’s responsibility to validate that a provider they are seeing is in the network. If your Prominence PPO, POS or HMO Freedom Member ID card does not contain a Cigna logo, please contact Customer Service and we can assist you.
Once you have entered Search Criteria on the Cigna website, be sure to:
- Select “Continue as Guest” and then
- Select a plan “PPO, Choice Fund PPO”
Standard Prior Authorization requirements continue to apply when using a Cigna provider for all non-urgent or non-emergent care.
IMPORTANT! Please note the Cigna PPO network is available for national network access outside the state of Nevada for those specific groups with plans that include national network benefits. It is not available within the state.
